After I Do Summary
Reid’s second novel is a story about a marriage in trouble. Lauren and Ryan decide to take a complete year off from each other in which they agree not to contact each other without any other rules for their break.
The ultimate goal is that they fall back in love. The book is told from Lauren’s perspective. For her, it’s a journey of self-discovery. Topics explored include the meaning of marriage, when and why to fight for a marriage, and how to fall back in love after the fire goes out.
