I fell in love with reading as a child, and that was not by accident. I had a mother who was a teacher and a copious reader. And she was always very generous when it came to books.
My Mission
Nothing makes me more sad than when someone says they don’t like to read. I like a good TV show and movie every now and then, too, but there’s nothing like a good book.
It’s my personal belief that if someone doesn’t think they like to read, it’s because they haven’t found the right books.

Your Reading Life Should Bring You Joy!
If there’s one thing I know for certain (besides death and taxes) is that your reading life should bring you joy.
While it’s fun to look back each year and see how many books we’ve read, reading should never be about the numbers. And while it’s fun to see what people are reading on Bookstagram, unfortunately, sometimes it can almost feel like a competition I didn’t know existed.
The real question we should aim to answer ever year is: “Am I satisfied with my reading life?”
And that is the focus of this blog.
